Beginning the 10th of March, the services of the BKK will run in accordance with the holiday schedule

Throughout the period of closure of schools and kindergartens, the schedule of the BKK buses will be modified. Starting on the 10th of March, a holiday schedule will be introduced, and beginning the 16th of March further changes will be introduced to the night services.

At the bus stops you should search for the light blue timetable. Besides this, during nightly travels it is especially useful to find out the departure times with the help of the FUTÁR trip planner, because the holiday schedules don’t always contain the reduction in services that occur due to the 8PM curfew.

No changes are expected in the opening hours of the BKK Customer Service Centers and the BKK ticket offices will operate with the usual opening hours. However, due to the restrictive measures introduced on the 8th of March, some of the BKK reselling points may have closed, so we ask you to gather information before buying a ticket. The ticket vending machines will operate without any change.

To avoid physical contact the BKK recommends its customers make use of the electronic passes and daily tickets available in the different mobile applications. You can find out more about shopping through the mobile-ticket application in the following site: https://bkk.hu/mobiljegy/. The salespoints and the ticket vending machines can be found on the https://www.bkk.hu/pontkereso/  site. The validity period of the monthly passes will not change until further governmental or capital measures are introduced.

The services of the BKK continue to be entirely safe, since the beginning of the pandemic our operators sanitize the buses daily.

In order to protect ourselves and others, masks covering your nose and mouth are compulsory while travelling. We ask you to comply with this rule as well as the social distancing rules!
