Terraces of restaurants can open, and the curfew is moved to 11 pm

Terraces of restaurants can open, and the curfew will start at 11 pm, announced Prime Minister Viktor Orbán this morning on Kossuth radio.

From Saturday, April 24, the terraces of restaurants will be allowed to be open until half past 10 in the evening, and the curfew will start at 11 pm on Saturday. The Prime Minister said that there could be as many as four million vaccines by the middle of next week, around Wednesday or Thursday. If at least four million people receive their first vaccination by then, other services can open for those who have the certificate of protection/immunity. Theaters, cinemas, museums, libraries, dance and music events, circuses, gyms and fitness rooms, ice rinks, zoos, spas and swimming pools, playhouses, sporting events, adventure parks, and interiors of hotels and the insides of restaurants will also be allowed to open.

A new web interface has been launched where appointments can be requested for vaccination. Since a large amount of vaccine are arriving in the coming days, there is a chance that everyone who has already registered will be vaccinated by mid-May. Then Hungarians will be able to come from anywhere in the world and receive the vaccine, said the Prime Minister.

Minors between the ages of 16 and 18 can be vaccinated with Pfizer. Hungary has not yet decided to vaccinate those who are between 12-16 years old, because this requires further investigations, the Prime Minister explained.
